Volunteer Garden Workday with Team Wicks
A little over a year ago, my team and I joined the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District (CCRCD) to break ground on a new community garden in Rodeo. Since then, the garden has come a long way: CCRCD and dedicated volunteers have established a pollinator garden with native plants, installed garden beds, and built an on-site greenhouse. On April 3, my team will be joining CCRCD at Laurel Court Community Garden once more for a day of service-and would love to see you there!
We're excited to spend the day restoring native habitats, supporting pollinators, and expanding access to fresh, locally grown produce for Rodeo residents. It was wonderful to see so many of you, little ones included, digging into the dirt to help grow this community space and I hope you'll join my office again this year.
